I landed late last night in New York. For the past week, I have been basking in the Florida sun and taking the warmth in. I stayed in Key Largo, Florida. Key Largo is a small town with one main road, homes on the water, little family owned shops, and GREAT food. Now Key Largo is not by any means a place where you get dressed up in your nicest summer clothing and show it all off. No, it’s more of a t-shirt and flip-flops area, which was great for me, but not so great for the blog. I decided to make this more of an inspiration post, where I could gather photos and places that inspired me in my fashion rather than posting my t-shirt-a-day looks.
First, I’ll start off with the house.
We stayed in a little yellow painted cottage of sorts that we found online. It was right off the main strip of stores and close to some great restaurants. The house literally was a step away from the beach. Right off the back porch is the white sand of the private little beach.
There was a cool Iguana in a tree on the beach too!
I loved these rocks too!!
Not only was the beach gorgeous, but the sunsets were absolutely amazing.
Here’s some other fun inspo around the house!
The first day we went to lunch at a restaurant right on the beach, on Mile 88 of the island. And yes, it was literally right on the beach.
One day for breakfast we went to Mrs. Macs. Mrs. Macs is a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner run by a local family. The food was absolutely fantastic, and so was the atmosphere. There were license plates everywhere: the walls, the signs and even the lights.
The last desert of the trip was the famous Key Largo Key Lime Pie. Take my word, i t w a s s o g o o d.
I hope you all had a lovely holiday!
Peace n Blessings
