FIT: Day 7

Today was day 7 of my class at FIT, my second to last day **cue the tears**. I was feeling completely inspired this morning and decided it was time to fix up this dress. My friend, Christianna, found it in a thrift store in Cape May, NJ and it was about $8. It’s a size 10 Talbot’s dress, definitely not her size and definitely not cute. When I saw her hold it up I immediately knew what I wanted to do with it and I was put in charge of fixing it up, and apparently that time was this morning. I cut off the length and sewed a simple hem! I moved around the ties from the sides to the front and back and knotted the front tie to cinch the waist in!
