Ciao, Italia

I can’t believe it’s my last day in Italy. I’ve been looking forward to this trip since I was accepted to this program at school a year and a half ago and now it’s basically over. I can definitely say that I took in everything Italy had to offer. I shopped, I bargained, I ate gelato basically every day (sometimes twice), I visited museum after museum, I climbed huge towers and saw beautiful views, and I had some amazing pasta. Florence has been amazing. And not just the museums and views (they have a Gucci Museum… like what), the culture and vibe of the city has been my favorite. The fashion, the street shops, the lack of extreme tourism, the list could go on.
Aside from the sappy “I’m leaving the best place on Earth” talk, I feel like this outfit is the most Italian yet. Palazzo pants in a bold print, gladiator sandals and a real Italian leather bag are all very typical of Italian street style (and will be major parts of my new worldly style).

Pace e benedizioni
