Sub-freezing temperatures and unpredictable snow showers this week have been anything but cute. The streets were full of marshmallow coats, waterproof gloves and (perhaps the ugliest of all) snow boots. I seriously struggle with dressing practically for the weather in winter, partly because I never change out the clothing in my closet. As a result, even in the winter I have a swimsuit drawer and a tank top drawer. To be completely honest, I’ve been borrowing a lot from my mom’s closet to stay warm in this weather because none of my clothes pass the 2˚ windchill test. Both of these nude sweaters are from my mom’s closet (thanks mom!!) and they definitely did the trick under this Free People jacket. This jacket is totally not my style but with the rough edges of the sleeves rolled up and paired with my leather boots it was just right.
I’ve recently been addicted to Poshmark. I am a total clothing hoarder (yep, I still have galaxy leggings and Victoria’s Secret PINK dolman shirts from circa 2010 taking up space in my closet) but this past week I’ve been clearing out a lot. All you have to do is take pictures of the clothes and accessories you want to sell, put a price on it and upload it to the Poshmark app. It’s literally so easy. While I’ve loved this jacket for the short time that I’ve had it, it’s time for it to be loved by someone else. So if you’re interested, stop over to my Poshmark closet and put in an offer!! (Also if you want to sell your own stuff on Poshmark, when you sign up use code BMIXF and you can get a $5 credit!) And no, in no way is this a promotion of any sort, I’m genuinely obsessed. Who doesn’t like making money and finding great deals on clothes? Nobody.
SOTD: “Gratisfaction” by The Strokes. This song is on an 8tracks playlist that I’ve been listening to approximately three times a day and it’s so catchy.
Peace n Blessings
