photography by Xandra Beverlin, location: Happy Place Museum
I was a huge fan of the Ice Cream Museum, so when I heard a similar museum was opening called Happy Place, I knew I had to go. The Ice Cream Museum was definitely more fun — you can’t really beat the sprinkle room and the millennial pink vibes throughout — but Happy Place had a confetti room which was 100% worth it. The entire Happy Place building was yellow, so I thought it would be fun to pull out my only yellow item of clothing: this Reformation yellow and white striped top.
Reformation is one of my all-time favorite brands. They make sustainable fashion so cool that even if you know nothing about sustainable fashion, you still want to wear their clothes. But I’ll be honest, the price point is definitely a bit high for me — I don’t have $200+ to drop on a dress or $150 to spend on denim. I buy from Reformation two times a year: during their annual sample sale in November, and their end-of-year sale. I got this top in the end-of-year sale last year, and scored these jeans at the sample sale. Reformation’s end-of-year sale began yesterday and the deals are on fire. P.S. last year during the sale, the deals got better and better as time went on, so if there’s something you have your eye on but aren’t ready to commit to yet, wait a few days! Here are my favorite picks from the sale!
