I’m back with the second post in my series AC(TEE)VISM – tee shirts with a cause! The first post focused on Reformation’s Action Tees, which featured funny sayings, cool graphics, and supported causes like Planned Parenthood, the ACLU and the Environmental Defense Fund. Each shirt was $50, but $30 from each shirt was donated to one of those causes. As much as I love Reformation and love their Action Tees, I was not down to spend $50 on a tee shirt. Everlane’s 100% Human collection still supports great causes in a stylish way, but at a much lower price point. The on-trend colors (like sunflower yellow!) and catchy, tastefully politically charged slogans caught my eye right off the bat. The $50 price tag, though, gave me a bit of a Macklemore & Ryan Lewis “Thrift Shop” moment – “I’m like, Yo that’s fifty dollars for a Tee-shirt” is right. The thing is, though, Reformation donates $30 for each shirt sold to three different incredible and important organizations. ~ Read this first post in a new series called AC(TEE)VISM. ~… View Post
